Who operates this site

1. Educational purpose, not medical advice

foodpyramid.app summarizes and explains publicly issued dietary guidance and the published scientific discussion around it, for general education. Nothing on this site is medical advice, dietetic advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing here creates a professional–patient relationship. Any figures produced by the tools (for example a protein reference range in Pyramid Check) are population reference values for generally healthy adults, not a personal prescription. Dietary needs vary by health condition, medication, allergy, age and more. Always consult a qualified health professional, a physician or a registered dietitian, before changing your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are making decisions for a child.

2. Accuracy and currency

We work from primary sources and date every page, but guidance documents are revised and errors are possible. Content is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. If official guidance and this site ever disagree, the official source governs. Corrections are welcome: hello@plainforge.com.

3. Not affiliated with any government

foodpyramid.app is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the USDA, HHS, or any national health agency whose guidance it describes. Official graphics are described and schematically re-drawn for education and commentary; original documents are always linked.

4. Acceptable use

You may link to, quote and share pages with attribution. You may not scrape the site to republish it wholesale, misrepresent its content as official government guidance, or use it in any way that implies endorsement.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, foodpyramid.app and its operator are not liable for any loss or harm arising from use of, or reliance on, this site’s content.

6. Changes

These terms may be updated; the effective date above will change accordingly. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
